Become A Mentor
Mentoring is one of the best ways to support your community. By helping a young person succeed, you are creating a brighter future for all of us and will gain the satisfaction of knowing that you have made a difference in someone’s life. You will discover and rediscover parts of yourself that you didn’t know existed, learn how much you have to give, and have the satisfaction of knowing you are making a difference.

In the high school program, mentors and students meet at the Match Party! Both mentor, student and parent or guardian are invited to meet in a group setting where they will have the opportunity to meet one on one, talk about goals and expectations and schedule their first get-together.
“These adult mentors are not movie stars or famous singers, but they are people with real lives and real jobs who take time to share their experiences with inner-city youth such as myself. I am proud that every student involved in the program has a positive adult role model standing behind us, pushing for our betterment in life.”
